Yesterday I went to see the lovely gents in Four Year Strong (just Dan and Alan) perform an acoustic set at Newbury Comics in Norwood. It was lovely and so many kids showed up. Literally - kids. RC and I felt so old.

Their album, Enemy of the World came out yesterday and it’s fantastic. I’ve had it for a few weeks and it’s honestly already my favorite album of 2010 - I may be biased but it really is THAT good. Forget what you may know about them because this album is really on a whole other level.

They played lovely acoustic renditions of Abandon Ship, It Must Really Suck…, Find My Way Back (favorite from the new album by far), Wasting Time, Heroes, and One Step At a Time.

Joe and Jake showed up for the signing but sadly Josh was super sick (mono? mumps?) and had to sit out yesterdays festivities. Go harrass him on his blog - he may need some cheering up.

So proud of these dudes. Super talented and deserving of the good things this album will bring.

PS. Oh, did I mention you can get the album for $5.99 on Amazon? So WHY wouldn’t you check it out?
